Business Development Manager, Thailand

This role exists to assist and support the sales team across all business-related matters. This role majorly leading and supports Thailand business. The key result indicators for this role are completion of tasks by deadline with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives for the region.
  • Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including clients, distributors, suppliers, and industry associations.
  • Collaborate with existing partners to expand the scope of cooperation and drive mutual business growth.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, referrals, online platforms, and targeted outreach.
  • Qualify and pursue potential clients, presenting solutions that address their specific needs and challenges.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the company's products or services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Set ambitious revenue targets for the assigned markets and work diligently to meet or exceed them.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and make data-driven adjustments to the business development strategy as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure a unified approach in delivering value to clients.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the market to help refine products and services to better meet customer demands.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
  • Use analytical tools and data to track progress against KPIs and identify areas for improvement.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years in business development, sales, or related roles within Thailand markets.
  • Strong network of contacts and an in-depth understanding of the local business landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and a dynamic business environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and Thai is mandatory, while knowledge of other regional languages is viewed as beneficial.
