Hello potential future Oatly employee. It’s us, the original oat drink company that started in Sweden back 25 or so years ago.

In the last few years, we’ve become a popular and pioneering dairy-alt player in the market. We're continuing to establish our presence in the Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, determined to be part of the discussion on the long-term future of the food and beverage industry. With this growth, we need more brilliant minds to come to work with us to keep the momentum going and the oat drink flowing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

We're looking for a Business Developer for the Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia to play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence. Collaborating closely with the Regional Manager based in Malmö, you will be at the forefront of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, focusing on Retail, Foodservice, and E-commerce expansion through key account and distributor management.

In this dynamic role, your purpose will be to drive strategic growth initiatives, establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, and implement effective business strategies. As a Business Developer, you will be instrumental in shaping our expansion strategies, ensuring a strong and sustainable presence in the Hungarian, Czech, and Slovak markets.

Here’s the main elements of the role...

  • Achieve budgeted targets and drive revenue growth by cultivating relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors.
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships aligned with company objectives, enhancing brand visibility and market share.
  • Develop and implement omnichannel strategies to acquire new clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention in Retail, Foodservice & E-commerce.
  • Collaborate with internal (marketing, sales, operations) and external (Distributors) teams for a cohesive approach in addressing Retail, Foodservice and E-commerce.
  • Represent the brand at events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand awareness and credibility.
  • Forecast and achieve sales targets contributing significantly to the organization's financial success.

The role can be based in Budapest or Prague — whichever you prefer!
