We're seeking a Contract Manufacturing Manager to join our Operations team. You will function as the first point of contact for all co-manufacturers into the Senior Manufacturing Manager. You'll play a significant role in supporting expansion across all manufacturing to ensure sufficient supply, identify risks and scoping redundancy.
This is a full time role with a preference for in person/hybrid work based in Hudson Square, New York City (Tue/Wed/Thu in office). We are also open to remote candidates across the US.
What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end production planning with all co-manufacturers and manage relationships to ensure seamless execution and alignment on capacity, timelines, and operational priorities.
- Oversee daily and weekly production performance, resolve delays or issues, and communicate risks and updates to cross-functional partners.
- Own ERP production activities across co-mans, ensuring accurate receiving, inventory movements, and consumption tracking to maintain data integrity.
- Coordinate product movement across the network by partnering with the Freight Team and co-mans on production releases, COA readiness, and shipment timing.
- Support commercialization of new and reformulated products by ensuring co-mans have accurate specifications, BOMs, materials, and packaging requirements ahead of production.
- Approve finished good invoices, troubleshoot three-way match issues, and support pricing transitions, credit applications, and RPO-based billing.
- Maintain high-level operational reporting, including production dashboards, schedule updates, and co-man performance tracking to support visibility and decision-making.
- Ensure audit-ready documentation of production activity, inventory files, and co-man reports to support transparency, traceability, and compliance.
- 3-5 years of experience managing suppliers in a co-manufacturing environment (preferably in a food or drink-based CPG business).
- Exposure and understanding of multiple Supply Chain and other business disciplines (Purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, R&D, etc.) in previous positions or project work preferred.
- You possess outstanding project management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think creatively.

Magic Spoon intends to offer competitive base pay within the stated range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. To further compensate and recognize our employees for their work, our total compensation package includes equity and a robust benefits package. The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $115,000-$125,000.
