About the role:

We are looking for an experienced, highly organized and analytical Demand Planner to join the Supply Chain team at Lemme. This is a highly collaborative role reporting to the VP Retail & Commercial Operations and working closely with Brand Management, Amazon, Growth and Operations team members. You will partner directly with Supply Planning to drive our inventory strategy and execution to support key product categories, new product launches and contribute to Lemme successfully meeting forecast accuracy, customer fill rates and in-stock targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate weekly sales order forecasts for all customers and SKUs
  • Work with Sales, Supply Planning, and Production teams to align on sales order timing and supply availability
  • Analyze historical data, channel inventory, and sales and marketing inputs to generate reliable sales order forecasts
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to create forecast scenarios for innovation and drive alignment on volumes
  • Establish and lead the demand planning process across all Lemme channels (DTC, Amazon, Wholesale)
  • Own detailed item-level forecast development and consolidation in collaboration with business leaders across the company
  • Provide forecast visibility to supply chain partners to inform inventory purchases and long term planning
  • Analyze demand forecasts based on category/product trends along with changes in marketing & sales plans
  • Align with marketing on forecast updates and drivers on rolling 12 month forecast
  • Establish scorecard to monitor and optimize forecast performance while reporting out weekly on performance versus forecast
  • Participate in the implementation and integration of a Demand Planning tool
  • Develop systems & processes to improve the demand planning function

This should describe you:

  • 3+ years of direct Demand Planning or related experience
  • Strong ability to integrate commercial insights and latest business assumptions to refine forecast to reflect the latest business assumptions
  • Analyze historical data, channel inventory, and sales and marketing inputs to generate reliable sales order forecasts.
  • Experience working in the Supply Chain industry (experience with e-commerce, direct-to-consumer and/or CPG highly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business management
  • Exceptional time-management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data while maintaining an understanding of the big picture
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote and evolving work environment
  • Strong communicator. Ability to communicate well with various cross-functional team members, as well as external partners. Ability to cater to your audience, whether with peers, leadership, etc.
