About the role:
The Retail Sales Manager will support the day-to-day execution across our wholesale channel providing analytical and executional support for the Lemme brand with a core focus on Target & Ulta Beauty. This position is responsible for supporting the management of our existing accounts, analyzing weekly sales trends and identifying opportunities / risks for the retail business. You will also play a critical role in the sell-in and onboarding of new retail partners. You will work cross-functionally across Sales, Brand, Operations & Finance to optimize our retail execution & operations. The role reports to the VP Retail & Commercial Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage domestic retail operations with a focus on Ulta & Target
- Support all efforts related to sell-in and sell through with major retailers and specialty accounts
- Partner with internal and external counterparts to drive forecasting and replenishment planning for the wholesale business
- Build, maintain and manage weekly reporting tools and dashboards for key customers
- Coordinate and lead weekly meetings with key stakeholders both internally and externally (brokers, distributors, etc.)
- Serve as the liaison between external retail planning teams and internal operations partners to support retail planning and operational improvements
- Build presentations and all necessary materials for customer meetings, including but not limited to sell-in stories, monthly meetings and line reviews
- Own & manage the promotional calendar across retail channels ensuring alignment across the business
- Lead item management across retailer portals and systems
- Travel for occasional trade shows, sales meetings / conferences and store visits
- Work closely with Finance & Operations to provide inputs on budgeting, sales planning and inventory management
This should describe you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience working in a retail / sales organization; CPG experience a plus
- Strong project management skills including organization and communication, with an ability to self-start initiatives and lead multiple team members (including third-party partners)
- Proven ability to convert information, numbers and data into insights for actionable growth
- Results-oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively
- Strong communicator. Ability to communicate well with various cross-functional team members, as well as external partners. Ability to cater to your audience, whether with peers, leadership, etc.
- Strong PowerPoint / Canva, Excel and database skills (Nielsen, IRI, etc).
- Comfortable working remotely (our team is 100% remote), don’t mind occasional domestic travel to visit suppliers/other partners
