The Role

We're looking for somebody based in or around Dublin to own our relationships with baristas and coffee shops in Ireland and Northern Ireland (which we call a Barista Market Developer).

If you’re looking to step out from behind the bar, get to travel for work, and run some killer events for an awesome coffee community, then you’re in the right place. You'll be looking after Dublin and Belfast as your key locations.

Here's what the role looks like day to day...

• Be the coffee community’s voice at Oatly, and Oatly’s voice in your region’s coffee community.
• Use your outstanding knowledge of the coffee scene and your own credibility to build rapport with coffee partners – from the baristas to the owner.
• Encourage dialogue and create meaningful change on how sustainability impacts the coffee industry.
• Conceive and create amazing coffee events promoting community and sustainability.
• Help grow and support our coffee company partners across both Ireland and Northern Ireland.

• You've got demonstrable experience within the specialty coffee industry, specifically of the Dublin scene.
• People would describe you as some of the following: collaborative, energetic, flexible, humble, dedicated, supportive, reliable, positive and trustworthy.
• You’re never far from the coffee bar, you understand what’s trending, and your natural creativity could help shape Oatly into that through hosting events (and other activations!).
• You're already engaged with our brand, love our products, and feel connected to our mission of encouraging health, sustainability, and transparency.
• You’re a self-starter, with a "get it done" mindset! You're excited to make your mark in a growing brand, you’re comfortable with ambiguity, and you're energised by the process of building something lasting from the ground up.
