About our engineering team

Our team of software engineers have backgrounds ranging from Google to early stage startups. We take pride in the quality of our work and our collaboration across all functions within the company. We're obsessed with building great product experiences on modern, cloud-based infrastructure and helping to scale physical products that pets need on a daily basis.

What you will do

• Write reliable, well-tested code in Python (primary and Javascript (secondary) on top of Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Implement consistent APIs and integrate with a variety of third-party APIs to achieve core business goals.
• Build a consistent, clean data infrastructure to accommodate a growing repository of pet health data.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

What you will need

• Adaptability, integrity, and curiosity to learn.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Python (or similar language), Javascript and web application development.
• Comfortable switching between back end and front end projects and creating seamlessly integrated experiences.
• Experience designing distributed SQL/non-SQL data storage solutions.Ability to synthesize, prioritize feedback into coherent requirements and action plan.
